About me
I’m a senior at St Christopher’s School in Bahrain, with an interest in public and global health and policy. My extensive experiences supporting communities locally and abroad have motivated me to explore how healthcare policy and access shape people’s lives. Through these interests, I hope to contribute to policies and initiatives that support underserved communities.
I’m always seeking opportunities to support others in practical and meaningful ways, from interning at a hospital to tutoring Bahraini public school children weekly through Dream Big. In Tanzania and Ghana, I’ve tutored students, helped construct classrooms, and raised funds for school supplies, as well as for diapers and baby formula for an orphanage in Tanzania.
I’ve enjoyed taking on leadership roles in recent years, including serving as a Community Service Leader at my school and Head of HR for Olani, an award-winning INJAZ Junior Achievement team I co-founded that developed non-toxic nail polishes and lip stains. Through my Economics Extended Essay on Ghana’s National Health Insurance Scheme and independent research on female education and maternal health in Ethiopia, I’ve deepened my understanding of how public policy shapes health outcomes and access to healthcare.
Outside of school, you can find me reading, playing tennis, making iced coffee, or spending time with friends and family. I am excited to keep learning, meet new people, and find new ways to contribute to my community.
